Fri Band: Solomon Douglas / Corner Pocket

Solomon Douglas, in addition to being a fantastic blues dancer, is also the head of Corner Pocket, a piano and bass duo that has become a staple of late-night dances at lindy exchanges, workshops, and camps. Solomon will be teaching, performing, DJing, and best of all, dancing with us this weekend.

Fri Band: Tin Cup Serenade

Just when you thought you've been entertained, we're going to throw this old time jazz/blues band your way. Discovered by serendipity, the Tin Cup Serenade will show up in the middle of the night on Friday to tickle your dancing-bone.

Sat Band: The Horn Dogs featuring Edna Love

We have put together a blues band steeped in soulful, danceable blues. The Horn Dogs are long time bay area blues musicians often featured at the old Blue Lamp now renamed Swig on Geary. The Horn Dogs will be led by the fabulous Edna Love. Edna Love is a San Francisco musical treasure who brings a ton of soul to any show. Originally from the East Coast, Edna moved to San Francisco in the jumpin' Seventies and started singing in area clubs soon after.
